Privacy Policy for LunchPunch

Introduction

LunchPunch is a mobile workout app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the app.

Information We Process

Information stored on your device

LunchPunch stores the following information locally on your device to make the app work:

• Your selected workout level and recently used app settings.
• Your mute preference.
• Reminder settings, including the selected day and time for local notifications.

This information is not used to identify you and is not sent to LunchPunch by the app.

Local notifications

LunchPunch can schedule workout reminders as local notifications on your device. These reminders are created and stored on your device using the operating system's notification service.

LunchPunch does not use remote push notifications and does not operate a server that sends notification messages to your device. You can allow, disable, or change notification permissions in your device settings at any time.

Advertising

LunchPunch displays ads through Unity LevelPlay and its advertising partners, which may include Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob. These providers may process limited technical information needed to serve, measure, secure, and improve ads, such as device information, IP address, advertising identifiers where available, app interaction information, and diagnostic information.

On iOS and Android, LunchPunch uses Google's User Messaging Platform before initializing advertising. Where required based on your location and the applicable privacy rules, it presents a consent message that lets you consent, decline consent, or manage individual privacy options. Your consent choices may be stored on your device and shared with participating advertising providers so that they can respect those choices.

LunchPunch does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. On iOS, the app therefore does not receive access to the advertising identifier for tracking across other companies' apps or websites. You can continue using the app and may receive contextual, limited, or non-personalized ads depending on your privacy choices and location.

Where required, you can review or change your consent choices later using the Privacy choices button in the LunchPunch menu.

Advertising providers may still process information as described in their own privacy notices, including for fraud prevention, ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and legal compliance. You can manage device-level advertising preferences through your device settings. You may continue to see ads after changing those preferences, but the ads may be less relevant.

Advertising SDK diagnostics

The advertising services used by LunchPunch, including Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob, may process crash, performance, and other diagnostic information needed to deliver ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and identify technical errors. This may include information such as the app version, device model, operating system version, app launch or performance information, and crash or diagnostic data. LunchPunch does not currently use Unity Cloud Diagnostics as a separate crash-reporting service.

How We Use Information

Information is used to:

• Provide and remember app settings and reminder preferences.
• Deliver local workout reminders that you choose to schedule.
• Display, measure, secure, and limit the frequency of ads.
• Measure advertising performance and detect, diagnose, and fix technical problems in the advertising services.
• Comply with applicable law and protect the security of the app and its users.

How Information Is Shared

LunchPunch does not sell personal information for money. We may share information with service providers only as needed for the purposes described above, including Unity, Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, ironSource, and Google AdMob.

These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate.

Data Retention and Deletion

Most LunchPunch settings and reminder information are stored locally on your device. You can delete this local information by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings.

Technical and advertising data processed by third-party providers is retained according to their respective privacy policies and legal obligations.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of personal information. You may also have the right to data portability, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or to opt out of certain sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.

Where the Privacy choices button is available in the app, you can use it to review or withdraw advertising consent. Withdrawing consent affects future advertising requests and does not change processing that already occurred lawfully.

Children's Privacy

LunchPunch is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact oscar.jackson@protonmail.com so that we can take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and publish the revised policy at this location.
